Tiger gets attention

June 15th, 2012

At a time when golf is struggling to gain media attention, it is good to see that Tiger Woods is well-placed after the first round of the U.S. Open. There is no doubt that when Tiger is playing well he does attract a bigger world-wide audience than anyone else in the game.

Of course GBN would love to see a first-time U.S. Open Champion receive the newly-minted Jack Nicklaus Medal on Sunday night. A European would be good, a Brit would be better and Lee Westwood would be best of all! Here’s to an exciting weekend…….
