The Golf Business Forum – an encouraging start by the new regime

May 2nd, 2014

Main sponsors HSBC and new Forum owners/organisers IMG should be encouraged by the success of this week’s three-day event at the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa. The programme was completed without a hitch, the venue was excellent and the attendance by a large number of golf business leaders from around the world gave everyone the opportunity to connect with companies, organisations and individuals that would be hard to meet in any other context.

Many stories which have appeared on GBN.com this week have their origin in and around the Golf Business Forum. Reading them should have given everyone a flavour of the proceedings and I shall be pleased to receive feed back not just from those who were present but from those who followed the event on-line.
