Sunday Record-breakers

August 23rd, 2013

Congratulations to Matthew Fitzpatrick, the 18 year old from Sheffield who last week became the first Englishman for 102 years to win the U.S. Amateur Championship, and to Liselotte Neumann from Sweden who captained the first European Team ever to capture the Solheim Cup on American soil. The Team also achieved the biggest margin of victory in the match’s 23-year history. Every one of them is star.

We salute these achievements and believe that they will be good for golf everywhere. Now wouldn’t it be great if England could play host to the Solheim Cup in 2019?
