Spring Forward

March 28th, 2013

We are a few days ahead of changing the clocks to ‘summer time’ (most of us) and sitting down to watch The Masters, the traditional start of the golfing ‘season’ in the northern hemisphere. But winter has already lasted far too long and we quickly need some warm weather to go with the longer daylight hours. In every sense we need to ‘spring forward’.

There is at last some good news from Rio. Clearance work on the site of the course that will play host to golf at the 2016 Olympics has begun; construction is set to begin next month.
