May 27th, 2020

A group of leading Scottish golf tourism business professionals has written to The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon MSP this afternoon. The letter concerns the future of golf tourism in Scotland and calls for urgent support in a number of important areas.

Topics raised include Phasing – a clearer timescale for full reopening is required; Financial Support (Furlough, Business Rates & Grants); the introduction of a post COVID 19 Quality Assurance Scheme; Air Passenger Duty; and help with VAT.

For interested parties Malcolm Duck, from Ducks Inn and Scotland’s Golf Coast, is given as the main contact via malcolm@ducks.co.uk and/or 0774 0676 113.

We wish this group well and every success.

Keep safe and healthy.
