Postal Ballot on motion to admit women as members of R&A

July 29th, 2014

Just after last Friday’s edition of our Newsletter was published a statement from The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews announced that a postal ballot among members of the Club on a motion to admit women as members will be conducted prior to the announcement of the result on 18 September 2014.

Those of you who follow us on Twitter will have known about this news within a few moments of it being announced. But for those who do not, this may be the first you have heard about it. To avoid such frustrations in future it might just be worth using the @GBNPublisher tag below. I promise not to over-burden you with messages ( you will never be told what I am eating for breakfast etc) and you might just find it amusing that I was once mistaken for a famous movie actor (I promise it’s true – but in a poor light, it must be said).
