Pleased to endorse National Golf Month

February 14th, 2014

Our ‘leading story’ today carries details of the UK golf industry’s initiative to recruit 100,000 lapsed or new golfers to the game. Coincidentally we also report on the success of a similar scheme in Wales as part of the Ryder Cup Legacy.

Projects such as these are needed throughout the world. Perhaps golf returning as an Olympic Sport in 2016 is the catalyst for growing golf in new markets but I am not aware of many examples where this is happening. I would be delighted to hear from any reader who can give me this information.
