News from the Tented Village

The successful re-introduction of golf at The Olympic Games is underlined by the news that upwards of a thousand people a day are trying out the sport in the tented village during both the men’s and women’s events. Is there any other Rio event where the spectators are given an immediate opportunity to take up the sport? And with a professional right there to give them a lesson? Perhaps there is, but I cannot think of one……
