New initiatives for Golf in Europe

May 1st, 2015

As befits the day which sees the start of National Golf Month in the UK, no less than seven out the twenty-three stories in today’s GBN.com Newsletter are about ‘Growing the Game’.

Among these is news from the European Golf Federations’ Conference at Wentworth, including an item which speaks of ‘Golf Europe’ – a group of European golf stakeholders collaborating to grow golf and enhance the sport’s contribution to European society – and ‘GoGolf’ – an initiative designed to engage young people in golf at a pan-European level and enhance the evidence base of the health benefits of golf. I am keen to learn more as soon as possible.
