Masters Weekend

April 12th, 2013

It’s Masters Weekend – the First Major of the Year – and an opportunity to attract new players to golf, since there are millions who watch on TV but have yet to take up the game.

We need to inspire these non-playing golf fans and perhaps the sight of the 14 year-old Chinese prodigy Guan Tianlang, the youngest-ever Masters player, will do just that. He has made a great start and we hope that he will play on all four days.

We always try to give our Newsletter subscribers a little bit extra and this week I am pleased to introduce you to “The Ballad of Rory McIlroy‘. It celebrates another young prodigy. The composer has stated that he would be delighted if he had to add another verse come Sunday night!
