Here Come The Girls

July 12th, 2013

The evidence from two reports that GBN.com has published this week indicates that golf is now more appealing to both women and girls than perhaps ever before.

England Golf reports that the Club Coaching Grant in 2012/13 involved more than 18,000 people in coaching with PGA professionals and the split between men and women was almost equal: 51% were male and 49% female.

In Scotland ClubGolf reports that participation rates are continuing to rise with a recent audit showing ClubGolf is having an outstanding impact on attracting talented young girls to the game.

This is good news and in celebration we are pleased to announce that GBN.com in conjunction with the Ladies European Tour is offering readers the chance to win a pair of tickets for the ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters at Buckinghamshire Golf Club in Denham on 26th-28th July. Win Tickets..
