‘GreenLinks’ – Coming Soon

June 17th, 2016

Yesterday at Royal Troon Golf Club The R&A introduced ‘GreenLinks’ – The Open Championship’s sustainability programme.

This exciting initiative aims to deliver a sustainable major sports event, addressing operational matters such as procurement, energy, catering, waste management and community engagement. Nature conservation and responsible greenkeeping are also key features of the programme.

We look forward to bringing you more information about GreenLinks next week. Success is dependent on a collaborative effort between all of the stakeholders involved in delivering The Open and I would say that includes all golf media and the golf fans too.
