Good News Week

June 10th, 2016

As we head towards mid-summer (apologies to our readers in the Southern Hemisphere) there is good news about golf participation from both sides of the Atlantic.

The latest report from Sport England shows that golf participation is continuing to hold strongly, despite bad winter weather and flooding. See HERE for more details.

Meanwhile, in the United States, ‘Get Golf Ready’ – now in its eighth year – had 107, 485 participants in 2015, an increase of 9 percent over 2014. Of those golfers, 66 percent were women and 24 percent were of multi-cultural backgrounds.  Good news indeed.
