GolfSixes Pilot Project Makes Promising Progress

September 1st, 2017

I am pleased to carry today’s report that the European Tour’s GolfSixes concept, first seen in May at the Centurion Club, is proving popular not only with the young golfers at whom it has been targeted but also with their parents.

The Golf Foundation, which has received full backing from the European Tour, is to be congratulated for its work in developing the format, which is all about fun and teamwork. It is much to the credit of the development team that so many clubs have become involved so quickly.
