Golf as a means of Rehabilitation and Recovery

August 16th, 2013

Each week in this Newsletter we list the headlines of all the stories that we have published in the previous seven days, along with a brief description of the content and leave our readers free to pick the ones that they want to read in depth.

This week, however, I should like to recommend that ALL readers look at the words and images under the headline “Battle Back injured servicemen triumph over golf industry team”

It is great to see that golf has a role to play in the aftercare of wounded service personnel in order to aid their rehabilitation and return to a more normal active life.

Of course this work goes on in all parts of the world. See www.golf4heroes.com and www.woundedwarriorproject.org for more inspiration and look out for our report of this year’s Captain Pietsch Trophy, to be played at St. Augustine, Florida, next month.
