Fund-raising made easy

The Golf Foundation has come up with a cost-effective and user-friendly method of fund-raising which will help the charity to reach one million new golfers every year.

All golfers agree that they would be happy to donate a small sum of money of, say, £2 or £5 to support the next generation of young golfers, but collecting the money from every adult golfer has always been a difficult logistical problem.

Now the Foundation, backed by’Golf Monthly, has introduced ‘Golf19’. Golfers simply text ‘Golf19 £2’ to 70070 and the donations come straight in.
