Friday The Thirteenth – Unlucky For Some

September 13th, 2013

I do apologise that the distribution of this week’s Newsletter from GBN is taking place so late in the day. It was probably a bit ambitious to expect to be able to get away with publishing 13 new stories on Friday the 13th and therefore it should not have been a surprise to me that the internet connection has been a little bit erratic today.

Back at our office near Oxford the technology is usually reliable but today this edition is coming to you from Sardinia, where your correspondent has been invited to attend a wedding. It would all remind me of ‘Mama Mia’ – except for the fact that  I have promised not to sing, I have never even met the bride’s mother and this is, er, the wrong island!

But, not so unlucky after all?

With apologies,

Geoff Russell, Editor
