Encouraging Figures…

May 9th, 2014

It’s always a bonus to be able to publish some good news about the UK Golf Market. Today this comes in the form of the report from SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. about rounds played during the First Quarter of 2014. This seems to justify the optimistic mood which prevailed at BTME in Harrogate earlier in the year.

Another piece of good news is the Court of Appeal’s decision which puts the proposed development at Cherkley Court in Surrey back on track. But the comments from some of the scheme’s opponents are extreme. Why do some people hate Golf so much?
