Congratulations to Great Britain & Ireland

Last weekend the top amateur golfers from Great Britain & Ireland defeated their opposite numbers from the United States to win the 43rd Walker Cup at Royal Aberdeen. It’s good to know that there are so many talented players coming through the coaching and selection system and we would like to congratulate the GB&I team and their Captain, Nigel Edwards.

The 14-12 victory is the first GB&I win since 2003. It came against a very strong US side that included six of the world’s top 10 amateur players and their late charge in Sunday’s singles made for an exciting finish.
