Conference insights

October 12th, 2012

The Golf Business is tough – perhaps the toughest that it has ever been. In addition to operating in a challenging economic environment, golf has also suffered from adverse weather conditions and had a large proportion of its customer base distracted by other sporting events.

In this week’s edition of GBN.com we report on several conferences, trade shows, seminars and forums. When times are hard some people are tempted to cut back on the expense of attending such events but in my experience the networking opportunities are invaluable (literally!)

Take a look at our Diary of Events to see what’s coming up. There are plenty of opportunities for ‘professional development’ and we can all benefit from that.
