BIGGA Pledge Follows UK Referendum Result

The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association is to be congratulated for its prompt reaffirmation of its pledge to support its members during the uncertainties that lie ahead.

It remains to be seen if the referendum result will have an impact upon golf’s ‘European’ associations for greenkeepers (FEGGA), golf professionals (PGAs of Europe), club owners (EGCOA) etc. but of one thing we can all be certain. When it comes to the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup, the players will still be representing Europe.

In fact golf is the only sport that I can think of where the whole of Europe plays together as one team……
