Berkhamsted Trophy decision will have domino effect

January 17th, 2020

Berkhamsted’s bold decision to invite women to compete with men in the Berkhamsted Trophy is to be applauded – somebody had to be the first, as far as elite men’s amateur golf goes. I don’t think they will be the last.

The support they have received from The R&A, England Golf and the Curtis Cup Captain will I think be echoed throughout the sport. Well done Berkhamsted!
