An Extraordinary Year

February 5th, 2021

Sports Marketing Surveys reports that golf rounds played in Great Britain last year were up by 12% compared with 2019. The ‘lockdown’ months early in the year were more than cancelled out by record growth in the third and fourth quarters of 59% and 41% respectively.

The growing weight of evidence is that golf can be played safely in accordance with social distancing and should therefore be one of the first activities permitted to reopen.

Be safe, healthy and well-informed.
