All in a Good Cause

February 10th, 2017

On Tuesday evening I had the good fortune to attend The TGI Golf Awards night at The Belfry during which £4,155 was raised for the Make-A-Wish Foundation – not a big news item, perhaps, but we should not underestimate the vast sums of money that golfers regularly raise for good causes.

As we recently reported, the annual charitable impact of all segments of the U.S. golf industry was estimated to be $3.9 billion last year with no less than 12,700 golf facilities hosting a charitable event.

As a matter of fact, on Tuesday night I was lucky enough to win a prize, so perhaps another donation would be appropriate! Here’s that website again; Make-A-Wish Foundation. Why not take a look for yourself?
