A Slice of Scottish Golfing Heritage

June 14th, 2016

I know that GBN.com readers are interested in Scottish Golfing Heritage, especially when a famous public house is involved. Earlier this year our story about the closure of Mrs Forman’s Bar & Kitchen in Musselburgh was one of the most-read that we have ever published!

I therefore make no apology for leading this week with the news about The Dunvegan in St Andrews. Don’t panic – it’s not going to close. It’s in the news because Jack and Sheena Willoughby, after 22 years of ownership, have decided to retire. The asking price is just under £3 million and I’m sure that there will be no shortage of potential buyers. Cheers Jack and Sheena and thank you for your hospitality!
