Golf Industry News - World Handicap System

Scottish Golf has reported that it has had over 30,000 scores submitted in the month since the new World Handicapping System went live in Scotland – and the rest of the UK – on November 2.

Last week's introduction of the new World Handicap System in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales has been widely praised across the industry, although there have been reports of teething troubles as clubs and golfers get to grips with the finer details of the new system, which went live on November 2.

Golfers in Wales can return to their clubs today (Monday) following the Welsh government's two-week lockdown – and are also returning to the new World Handicap System.
