Golf Industry News - Scottish Environment Protection Agency

Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) has removed all but one of its objections to the proposed Coul Links Golf Development at Embo, near Dornoch which will be determined by planning committee on June 5th

A world-renowned golf club is supporting a pioneering project that will help prevent part of its course succumbing to coastal erosion by rebuilding natural defences. A number of gaps in the saltmarsh habitat in the Dornoch Firth means part of Royal Dornoch’s Struie Course is vulnerable to flooding and even being lost to the power of the waves

The developers have welcomed significant progress on their plans with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency removing its objections to the project
