A panel of judges for Golf Inc has voted Les Bordes Golf Club as one of the best private club renovations in its 25th annual ‘Clubhouse of the Year’ competition.

Golf course architect Gil Hanse travelled from his home in America to France’s famous Loire Valley earlier this month to hit the first tee shot at the official opening of the New Course at Les Bordes, his first design project in continental Europe.

Set to be unveiled this summer, the New Course at Les Border is at the heart of a comprehensive new eco-strategy devised by the luxury estate to deliver improved sustainability on and off the golf course.
