A unanimous vote in favour of restructuring the Ladies’ Golf Union and adopting new operational rules has paved the way for a more modern and effective approach to managing the organisation.

One of golf’s oldest organisations has announced that it is to change its name after 74 years to reflect the evolving role of golf club secretaries. The Golf Club Managers’ Association represents approximately 65 per cent of Clubs in the UK.
