A family-run Leeds-based property investment company has acquired the four-star Aldwark Manor golf and spa hotel, near York, for an undisclosed sum

The hotels will continue to be managed by RBH - formerly Redefine BDL Hotels - and will henceforth be known as DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort, in north Lincolnshire, and DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort

Ten Golf Resorts, including 17 golf courses, have been purchased from QHotels by UK real estate investment company Aprirose as part of a deal reported to be worth £525 million
