The Stadium layout at PGA Catalunya Resort, near Girona, has once again been named Spain’s No.1 course in top100golfcourses.com’s latest Spanish rankings

PGA Catalunya Resort is a year into its three-year investment programme aimed at growing the venue into one of Europe’s leading luxury lifestyle destinations. Its €53 million development plan, which has seen the opening of the 5* Hotel Camiral (September 2016), will include the addition of a new vineyard, sports facilities, an equestrian centre and a recreational lake

The move will continue O’Grady’s association with the European Tour, which began in 1974 when he joined as a Tournament Administrator after a spell in the City of London. It also continues the recent restructuring programme initiated by Chairman David Williams and the Board of Directors
