Many of the iconic names in world golf will converge on Royal Troon Golf Club in Ayrshire, Scotland, from 24-27 July for The 2008 Senior Open Championship presented by MasterCard – and you, too, can be there to witness them at close quarters.

Defending champion Tom Watson of America has fond memories of Royal Troon Golf Club, having triumphed there in 1982 to claim the third of his five Open Championship titles.

Also included in this year’s Senior Open Championship field are two European Team Ryder Cup Captains, England’s Mark James and Ayrshire’s favourite son Sam Torrance, whilst the likes of Tom Kite, Mark O’Meara and 2006 champion Loren Roberts are expected to join Watson in leading the American challenge.

Special prices are now available to golf fans who book advance tickets for the 2008 Championship. Anyone purchasing a season ticket before July 1, 2008, will receive £10 off the gate admission price of £60. One day tickets are available at £15 – a saving of £5 – if booked before July 1. A further 10% discount is also available for customers booking and paying by MasterCard.

A Championship hospitality package in the Barcelό Troon Marine Hotel is also available to fans wishing to catch the action in style.

For £120 (plus VAT) per person per day, you can enjoy luxurious surroundings while enjoying the exploits of the best senior golfers in the world.
