TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s Justin Rose wins WGC-Cadillac

7.56am 13th March 2012 - Sponsorship & Events

On a week when TaylorMade Tour staff professionals donned a No. 17 on the front of their hats to commemorate the official PGA Tour launch of its RocketBallz family of metalwoods, Justin Rose overcame the famed “Blue Monster” on his 72nd hole and held on for a one-stroke victory over the world’s best at the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

Rose played the all new RocketBallz 3-wood, a breakthrough club that goes 17 yards further than the previous TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 model. As part of the ‘RBZ 17’ campaign at Doral, Rose wore a black cap with a slime green ‘17’ on the front and the hashtag #RBZFactor on the side to represent the remarkable distance gains golfers enjoy with this innovative new product. Rose, 31, also trusted his short game to the all new ATV wedges, PENTA TP5 golf ball and Ghost Tour Corza putter.

Rose wore adidas Golf apparel and the adicross footwear. Since debuting the spikeless shoe last September, Rose has notched two wins and he now moves to ninth in the 2012 FedEx Cup season long points race.
