Profile Products Renews Support of ASGCA

3.51pm 8th December 2014 - Sponsorship & Events

Profile Products web pageProfile Products, LLC, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, has extended its Major Partner in Education commitment to the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) for three years, supporting education for ASGCA members and the golf industry. The Major Partnership support level assists ASGCA in developing educational programming, and provides tools ASGCA members utilize to work more effectively in golf development and remodeling.

The company, which manufacturers a comprehensive line of products to control erosion, establish vegetation, and improve soils, signed on as a Major Partner in 2011 – joining Toro and Rain Bird as ASGCA Major Partners – and has worked with ASGCA staff and leaders to develop programming to benefit members and give its staff greater insight into the erosion control needs in golf course development.

“This is a great relationship, and ASGCA is happy to continue working with Profile Products as a Major Partner,” ASGCA President Lee Schmidt said. “In addition to tools like the Site Solution Gallery, Profile is always generous with their time and resources. They truly are great partners, and I look forward to continuing to work with their leaders as we learn even more about their products and services.”

“Building strong relationships with ASGCA members has allowed our team the opportunity visit job sites and provide environmentally sound solutions for root zone mixes, controlling erosion and establishing vegetation,” Jeff Langner, brand manager for Profile Golf products, said. “It’s great to be able to tap into the marketplace knowledge of ASGCA members; we put the information we’ve learned in focus groups to good use in product development and marketing.”
