PGAs of Europe Ryder Cup Coach Hub Launches

5.07pm 29th September 2016 - Sponsorship & Events

The PGAs of Europe have launched a Ryder Cup Coach Hub that focuses on the 12 Members of the European Ryder Cup Team and the PGA Professionals that work alongside them.

The Hub at PGAE.com – http://eur.pe/RyderCupPGAPros – details the players alongside their PGA Professional coaches, together with key information about how they made the team and their existing records in the biennial competition.

For the first time, the PGA Professionals from across the PGAs of Europe’s Member Countries that support, and have supported, Team Europe’s members are detailed together giving an insight into their successful working relationships, and shining a spotlight on the work that goes on behind the scenes to aid the development of golf’s superstars.

The Association’s role as a partner within Ryder Cup Europe through the vehicle of the Ryder Cup European Development Trust, provides the ideal vantage point to look at the key links between the 12 members and the root of their games, the PGA Professional.

“After the success of our Olympic Coach Hub, it made great sense to look at the European Ryder Cup Team in a similar way,” said PGAs of Europe Chief Executive, Ian Randell.

“The 12 members of Team Europe have worked incredibly hard across their careers to get to where they are now and have all been influenced by the coaching of PGA Professionals.  Since its inception, The PGA and PGA Professionals have been inherently linked to the Ryder Cup so the Hub is a great vehicle to allow us to celebrate their work throughout Europe.”

Each Player-Coach listing contains details on the relationships between the players and their PGA Professional coaches, along with articles and video with coaches about the players.
