The European Tour has launched an improved online shop focusing on its golf merchandise and quality sportswear, introducing a range of improved facilities.

Golf fans can now choose from an enhanced offering of European Tour branded items online and also have the option to personalise certain European Tour own label golf accessories.

The Tour has also redeveloped the official merchandise unit seen at many of its events to enhance the visitor experience as well as showcase merchandise in a completely new way, offering a selection of product available to purchase online in addition to items exclusive to each event.

Tim Hunt, Director of Marketing Communications for the European Tour, said: “The redesign of our online shop is specifically aimed at golf fans browsing for their next golf outfit, or gift, such as the European Tour Headcover Collection currently on sale. Our customers are often on the move so our new website is fully PayPal integrated and mobile optimised.”

Both shops feature a range of European Tour accessories including luggage and headwear, and stock high quality golf apparel brands such as Lyle & Scott, Nike, Footjoy, Peter Millar and abacus, the Official Clothing Supplier to the European Tour.

Tim Hunt added: “Golf fans often come to us as a one-stop-shop for golf apparel and accessories. The new retail facilities, both online and at our tournaments, will continue to provide best-in-class golf shopping for fans.”

The European Tour event merchandise unit will appear at The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open this week. To visit the Official European Tour online shop visit http://shop.europeantour.com/
