Glenmuir, the leading Scottish golf and leisure wear brand, has renewed its partnership with the Professional Golfers‘ Association. The new contract will see Glenmuir continue as title sponsor of the PGA Club Professional Championship and as clothing supplier to the PGA Cup team. The company will also provide clothing for PGA tournament staff, ensuring exposure at all PGA managed events.
Glenmuir will continue its support for the PGA’s Bryant Homes road show, providing uniforms for the professionals giving free golf lessons around the country, and at the Game Improvement Centre at The Open.
Speaking at the signing of the contract at Glenmuir’s Scottish headquarters, managing director Colin Mee said, “The extension of our sponsorship of the Club Pros‘ Championship, along with the range of activities we are involved in with the PGA, provides us with a significant platform of support for PGA professionals, and will help maintain our position at the heart of the game of golf. PGA members remain the most significant group of customers for Glenmuir, and our ongoing partnership with the Association will enable us to continue the very close links that the company has enjoyed with members for many years.”
PGA chief executive Sandy Jones added, “Glenmuir is the Association’s longest standing tournament sponsor, and was one of the first PGA Partners. We are delighted to have agreed this extension to our partnership and look forward to the benefits it brings for Glenmuir, the Association and our members.”
