England Golf unveils iPRO drinks sponsorship deal

11.51am 20th July 2020 - Sponsorship & Events

England Golf has announced an agreement with iPRO which will see the leading drinks supplier become its ‘preferred hydration partner’.

Competitors at England Golf competitions will be supplied with drinks from iPRO’s Hydrate range during the 2020 championship season, including this month’s English Men’s & Women’s Amateur Championships at Woodhall Spa and, next month, the English Women’s Stroke Play Championship at Burnham & Berrow and the English Men’s Stroke Play (Brabazon Trophy) at Sherwood Forest, both of which tee off on August 18.

Sweetened with Stevia and containing no artificial colours, flavours or added calories, iPRO’s drinks – available in Berry Mix, Orange and Pineapple, Citrus Blend and Mango flavours –  have proved very popular with a wide range of sporting professionals and amateurs across the globe.

The partnership will also place a strong focus on the importance of sustainability, and as such both iPRO and England Golf intend to develop a strategy to recycle all drinks packaging during the term of the relationship.

England Golf’s Championship Director, James Crampton, said: “We’re delighted to team up with iPRO for key events in our 2020 championship calendar. It was very important to us that we found a drinks partner who not only provided a healthy product, but who also shared our strong commitment to recycling and sustainability. We look forward to working with iPRO this season and to developing the relationship.”

Sophie Christy, Commercial Director of iPRO Hydrate, added: “We are very excited to partner up with England Golf as the official and preferred hydration drink of the 2020 championship golf calendar. This collaboration provides us with an authentic and meaningful platform to connect with the sport, golf clubs, our retailers and golf fans across the UK.

“Over the coming months we will alongside England Golf, work together to educate players on the importance of hydration and the role they play in the successful delivery of our overarching recycling and sustainability strategy. We wish all players competing in the forthcoming 2020 championship calendar the very best of luck.”
