“We are very excited about this new venture on the Trilby Tour. It is a very impressive, well organised tour and is a great experience for every amateur golfer who enters; probably the closest they will get to knowing how a touring professional feels under pressure. We are keen for the first event to start as we can’t wait to offer our professional services to all competitors” commented Simon Corp, Direct Golf UK’s Marketing Manager.

As one of largest employers of PGA Professionals in Europe, Direct Golf will ensure PGA professionals are on-hand at each event to offer advice, provide full equipment support and custom-fitting for all competitors.

William Hunt, founder of the Trilby Tour, said: “I am delighted to be working with Direct Golf and having them come on board the Trilby Tour. The Trilby Tour has always been about forging new paths within the golf industry and upping the standards when it comes to offering the ultimate golfing experience. The guys at Direct Golf are fantastic – passionate about their customer and the amateur game.”

The prestigious amateur golf tournament, now in its 7th year, will host a series of Regional Championships across the UK to find the Amateur Champion 2013.

The Grand Final will take place at the five star Championship Course at Rockliffe Hall, Durham on 28 August 2013.
