Caxton FX, a London-based currency company is delighted to announce Melissa Reid as its brand ambassador. As part of the sponsorship deal, Caxton FX will be Melissa’s official currency exchange sponsor for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Mel became an instant success on the Ladies’ European Tour in 2008. Her star continued to rapidly rise after her success as a member of the winning European Solheim Cup team in 2011 and following her 1st place win in the 2012 Raiffeisenbank Prague Golf Masters.

James Hickman, Managing Director of Caxton FX, said: “We are extremely excited by this initiative and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with Mel Reid as a Caxton FX brand ambassador. As someone performing at an elite level across the globe, Mel is a perfect fit with Caxton. We will be working together to act as an enabler to aspiring golfers, and to serve new and existing customers who travel the world for their love of golf. I’m looking forward to seeing Mel succeed on the Ladies European Tour, armed with her Caxton FX card for all her currency needs.”

Mel will be supporting the growth of Caxton FX’s prepaid currency cards and online payments service. She will also be involved with several new initiatives and products as Caxton FX supports her throughout the LET season. Mel commented “I’m not sure why I didn’t think of using a currency card sooner. It makes so much sense for someone that travels, both from a financial and a security point of view. I look forward to helping Caxton FX promote their product to the golf market and beyond.”
