The stunning championship golf course, The Carrick on Loch Lomond, has renewed its sponsorship of Ladies European Tour player Kylie Walker, with the venue becoming her primary practice and training facility in 2011.

Preparing for her second full season competing on Europe’s highest tier of ladies professional golf, Walker will benefit from use of the championship golf course, extensive practise facilities and first-class leisure and fitness facilities at the resort, completing the majority of her training programme at the award-winning resort.

Ross Whitfield, Director of Golf and Estates at The Carrick on Loch Lomond, commented, “We are delighted to extend our support of Kylie and look forward to helping her achieve her goals in the coming season. We are dedicated to delivering a first class experience for all of our guests and members at The Carrick, and aligning ourselves with a player who shares the same high aspirations and expectations makes Kylie a great fit for us. Our recent works will allow us to present the course in its best ever condition this year, and I’m sure Kylie will reap the benefits of the having all of our facilities at her disposal.”

Carrick Ambassador and LET professional Kylie Walker, commented, “I am very grateful for the continued support of The Carrick on Loch Lomond, which provides me with a fantastic platform to develop my game and reach my goals for the season. The golf course, practice area and fitness facilities are of the highest standard and I am proud to promote such a quality resort around the world, starting in Australia next month.”

The Carrick on Loch Lomond quickly established itself as one of the UK’s leading new golf courses since opening in 2007. The Doug Carrick design meanders between the lowland banks of Loch Lomond for the front nine before heading into the highland heath on the back nine, and is complimented by Cameron House Hotel, offering luxury accommodation to accompany the golf course. The award-winning 5-star resort on the banks of Loch Lomond was named 2010 Hotel of the Year at the prestigious Catey Awards. www.cameronhouse.co.uk
