Pride Sports invests in LET

7.22am 10th March 2009 - Sponsorship & Events

Pride Sports, the world’s No. 1 manufacturer of golf cleats and tees, is delighted to announce that it has increased its presence in professional golf by becoming the ‘Official Supplier of Cleats and Tees’ to the Ladies European Tour.

The exclusive deal will see Pride Sports have two tee box dispensing units positioned on the 1st and 10th tee at LET tournaments this year.

“We are excited about this agreement as it will provide us with a fantastic platform upon which to promote our ever increasing range of golf cleats and tees,” commented Louise Roe, Pride Sports’ business unit manager.

“We feel that the increasing number of countries that the Ladies European Tour visits can only help to increase our brand awareness throughout the UK and on the Continent.”

“Pride Sports is a world leader in the manufacture of golfing accessories and we are delighted to be able to offer its products to the LET’s elite golfers at tournaments this year,” commented Mark Casey, LET director of operations and The Solheim Cup.

Softspikes and PTS Golf Tees are a division of PrideSports, which was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes Inc and its sister company Trisports Ltd of England.

This acquisition essentially formed the world’s premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world’s leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
