Glenmuir sponsors Welsh T & CC

Glenmuir is to sponsor the first ever Golf Coaching Cymru Teaching and Coaching Conference, being held at Ryder Cup 2010 venue Celtic Manor in February.

The Scottish based clothing company is providing shirts to delegates, clothing for conference staff and will also host an exhibition stand at the event, which is expected to draw up to 180 delegates.

The conference being run in partnership by The PGA in Wales and the Golf Union of Wales and has a confirmed list of world-renowned speakers, including Sir Clive Woodward, Pete Cowen, Dr. Paul Hurrion and mind-guru Karl Morris.

It takes place on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th February 2009 at The Celtic Manor Resort and costs £150 (including VAT) which includes a welcome pack and buffet lunch each day.

Glenmuir marketing director, Andy Bough, said, “With the Ryder Cup being hosted in Wales in 2010 and Glenmuir being an official clothing supplier to the European Ryder Cup Team, we are delighted to be sponsoring this coaching conference.

“Glenmuir also has a long and proud association with the PGA and we hope our involvement with this conference, the first of its kind in Wales, will help it become a regular event.”
