Social Media & PR expert joins Sports Impact

Sports journalist Adam Smith, a social media and PR expert who has written extensively for the popular Golfshake.com website, is joining Sports Impact, the leading sports marketing agency based in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Adam, who has expertise across all social media platforms as well as relevant PR experience, will be involved in building brand profiles for agency clients, with a special focus on websites and product e-marketing.

A senior features writer and product reviewer with Golfshake.com for the past five years, he also acted as press officer for the website during its recent period of rapid growth. Previously, he spent almost two years as online editor with the Bunker Mentality clothing brand and presented TV advertising for its YouTube channel.

“Adam is a proven sports writer and a great addition to our team,” said CEO John Collard. “He will help us expand our offering to clients in terms of quality content, to go along with the exceptional levels of brand and product exposure that we set out to generate for each of them in their respective market sectors.”

Holding a BA (Hons) in Sports Journalism from Staffordshire University, Adam has also hosted his own sports radio programme and worked in a variety of media roles in Australia, as well as the UK.
