Royal Albartross Meets Ladies’ Sole Demands

Royal Albartross, the brand behind the world’s most luxurious golf shoes, has responded to an increasing demand from women by launching a ladies’ range every bit as sexy, stylish and innovative as its male counterpart.

The British shoemaker has unveiled six new designs for women which marry classic and contemporary European design and leathers with Italian craftsmanship and American cleat technology.

This unique combination has created a shoe of international design status with out-of-this-world comfort and fit.

Alex Bartholomew, founder of Royal Albartross and chief designer of the women’s range, said: “Ever since the launch and international success of our men’s range, we’ve had women pleading with us to create a shoe as beautiful and practical for them. It wasn’t about over-designing something new, rather updating a classic golf shoe and making it appeal to today’s stylish lady golfer.

“It makes sense – women love and appreciate shoes, and female golfers have had a rough ride in the past! We’ve married the best in technological innovation with the comfort required for 18 holes and cutting-edge design.”

The ladies’ range styles are Barcelo Blue, Betsy Bellagio, Candy Rousso, Dolly Dumont, Lady Luck and Diamond Lottie, with colours incorporating white, pale pink, lilac, powder blue, silver and black patent. Each shoe showcases Royal Albartross’ love of impressive design touches and intricate detailing, such as a subtly branded stainless steel ball marker and polished lace tips.

The launch of the stylish brogues follows a resurgence in popularity for traditional shoes with a host of fashionistas recently seen sporting colourfully designed variants, including actresses Emma Watson and Sienna Miller.

With the finest Italian materials, exquisite finishing and the technical expertise to update classic golf shoes Royal Albartross has created the perfect line to appeal to today’s discerning women golfers.

Bartholomew added: “The entire experience of wearing our golf shoes is designed for your pleasure – from our bespoke packaging and the beautiful leather smell as you open each shoe box, through to being able to walk the entire course comfortably.
