With the accent on optimum application accuracy, Rigby Taylor launched its own branded range of fertilizer spreaders for the sports turf industry at this year’s SALTEX.

The range comprises of two hopper capacity sizes of 36kg and 60kg, with different chassis alternatives. Each spreader features flexible options for different trays to be fitted, allowing the broadcasting of fertilizer, grass seed and sand/salt. An advanced,

8 adjustable ‘throwing ports’ with repeatable settings port system balances left, right and centre to ensure equal spread across the 180˚ spread width

Wide spaced pneumatic tyres provide excellent weight distribution and improved transport over all surfaces. Heavy-duty gears, stainless steel axle, superb spread width and a free rain cover supplied as standard makes it a perfect industry introduction.

A unique benefit to all purchasers is a FREE, RT ‘Calibration Bag’ supplied with each machine that will assist users to undertake the accurate calibration of products to be applied. The ‘Calibration Bag’ is easily fitted to the machine and simple to follow instructions allow operators to calculate the required calibration for each product to be used.

To assist all users of the new machines, Rigby Taylor has undertaken the pre-calibration of all its fertilizers and a chart will be supplied with each machine indicating the correct settings required.
