Greenspace launches new app to connect golfers

8.57am 2nd June 2023 - New Products

Greenspace Golf has announced the launch of their all-new app for iPhone and Android, created to bring golfers together online; sharing their on-course experiences, achievements, memories, and more.

The app, built in partnership with Founder + Lightning, allows users to create their own private ‘clubhouses’, as well as sharing content to the wider golfing community around the world.

With every course on the planet loaded into Greenspace’s database, golfers can keep a record of their golfing endeavours across the globe, snap and share images, and make a note of both their playing partners and their scores.

The dedicated Clubhouse function allows golfers to invite existing Greenspace users to create a safe space for sharing content among their network, and is ideal for use by golf clubs and societies who want to communicate to golfers in a quick and effective manner, without the pitfalls that can be associated with existing non-golf-dedicated platforms.

Greenspace is a golf-focused mobile platform that enables golfers to connect with each other

Greenspace has continued to be truly golfer-focussed from its inception, with plans to further develop features with feedback from its user group. Additionally, the app has strived to make the single-player functionality appealing for golfers, allowing them to look back at their past rounds and images; ultimately creating an interactive record of their golfing journey within the Round History feature.

The brand undertook a content shoot in May at Brocket Hall, with several of the country’s leading amateur golfers in attendance, helping to further shape the future of the app. Greenspace are also in talks to to launch partnerships and collaborations with major brands within golf later in the year.

Co-founders Darren and Charlie Dryer said: “We built Greenspace to create a dedicated place for golfers to share their most cherished times on course within a safe, and positive community of fellow golfers. Greenspace should be a place unincumbered by the noise and distraction of other social communities; a place where golfers can celebrate each other’s successes, while ensuring their own memories can be easily documented in one place for future reflection and enjoyment.”
