St Mellion International Resort, the south west’s leading golf and leisure resort, has introduced a pioneering new membership structure, specifically tailored to each golfer’s individual requirements.

Golfers pay only for the facilities they require – those which best suit their individual playing habits – making it the best value members’ club in the region.

St Mellion, located in Saltash, Cornwall, has two 18-hole championship courses, both overseen by the region’s only Master Greenkeeper, Mike Bush.

Individual membership starts from just £650 per year and gives members playing privileges on the Kernow Course, competition entry (subject to normal club fees) and access to the members’-only levy discount and Crown Golf  ‘Open Play’ schemes. Members who wish to upgrade to an additional golf membership of the championship Nicklaus course, health and fitness club or buggies can simply add them on as they choose.

All Members also benefit from a 10 per cent discount in the resort’s bars and restaurants with a 15 per cent discount in the Elemis Spa.

StephenTowers, Resort Director of St Mellion, said: “St Mellion gives golfers in the area affordable luxury; an offering which is unique in the area. Our new add-on membership structure means that, even during the toughest economic times, membership is affordable. We can build a package to suit almost every individual’s requirements, and are proud to be offering a flexible approach that sets us apart.”

St Mellion is the flagship property of the award-winning Crown Golf group (www.crown-golf.co.uk), which has 28 UK golf facilities and 46 golf courses in its portfolio.
