The Lee Westwood Golf School has announced the first Scholarship Roadshow tour of the UK and Europe.

Former world number 1 golfer Lee Westwood is personally providing scholarship funding to potential students to attend his Cheshire and Essex golf schools.

Launched back in 2010, the School is the leading provider of a golf and education programme whereby young golfers can obtain a high level education alongside a structured and precise golf training programme.

For the first time the Lee Westwood Golf School is hitting the road and visiting over 20 venues around the UK and Europe meeting golfers of aged 15 and over who have an interest in attending the School and might qualify for a scholarship.

Lee Westwood said, “When I launched the golf school, it was a wonderful opportunity for me to give something back to the game and for young golfers to have the chance to enhance their careers. Being able to offer a scholarship to attend and develop their life-skills, education and golf is great.”

Lee added “This is the first time we have taken the School around the UK and to Europe and it is a fantastic opportunity for us to reach out to as many junior golfers as possible, let them know about the school and offer them this scholarship chance.”

Head of Schools Simon Dainty said, “We are unique from any other programme out there, we are an official partner of England Golf, and we look forward to meeting golfers around the country and overseas where we can showcase the school, its achievements and find potential scholarship receivers.”
