The Conference will commence with a traditional Reception Dinner on the evening of Thursday 20th February 2014. The 23th February 2014 will be a departure day only.

The nearest airport to the venue is Girona airport, and is a short journey to the hotel. The alternative airport is the airport of Barcelona, which is a one hour journey to the hotel. Assistance with transfers will be given on the arrival and departure days, so delegates should forward their travel schedules to FEGGA to facilitate these arrangements.

FEGGA Executive Officer, Dean Cleaver, says, “This is an extremely important event because this year the Conference will showcase the Greenkeeper Development Opportunities and Roadshow Education that the FEGGA Board seeks to bring to every area of Europe during the lifetime of this Board.

“The Federation would like to share with you its vision of bringing the delivery of calibration training, pesticide application training, management training, leadership and teamwork development skills, marketing skills, the latest industry product technology, updates on new legislation, and examples of Best Practice within a recognised CPD scheme across Europe.

“We hope that you will take the time to come and join us in Spain and help us to continue growing our valuable industry to support the game of Golf.”

The Conference Patrons are Campey Turf Care Systems; John Deere; Ransomes Jacobsen; and Toro
